Outdoor Dock & Lifts

Have a dock and lifts-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • If I want to save money can I pick up & install the dock myself?

Yes you can, some docks are easier to put together than others, call us for more info.

  • If I move, can you move my Boat Lift from 1 lake to another?

Yes we can, we have a trailer that can transport it, just call for a quote on pricing.

  • Do you recommend leaving my dock or boat lift in the water for winter?

No, unless you are in a channel or river area that doesn’t have any ice shifting.

  • Are guides necessary for a boat lift?

They are not necessary but it is recommended, it depends on your lake and wind and who is driving the boat into the lift.

  • How will I know how far to lower my boat lift to launch in the water?

Whether you crank down or power down your lift you should only lower it enough to make the boat FLOAT in the water.  Be careful if you have a Power lift to NOT keep lowering it or the winch will start winding in reverse which will wreck your cable and need to be replaced.

  • How will I know how far to RAISE my boat under the canopy on the lift?

It is best to watch as the boat rises so you don’t hit the canopy frame or boat canopy braces.

  • What areas do you deliver if I purchase a new Dock/Pier or Boat Lift?

We will deliver and install anywhere that is central to southern Wis with a newly purchased dock/pier OR Boat Lift.

  • Can I get on your seasonal Install/Removal list for my dock or lift?

Yes but our seasonal install/removal area is mainly in Washington County.
